Pet Wellness
Regular wellness exams allow your veterinarian to evaluate your pet’s general health and evaluate any health problems before they become serious.
Pet Wellness
Since your pet cannot vocalize their feelings, you must rely on regular physical examinations by a veterinarian and your at-home observations. Your veterinarian may also wish to perform diagnostic tests, including blood tests and/or X-rays to evaluate your pet’s health.
Similar to people, pets need to visit the veterinarian more often as they get older in order to prevent and treat illnesses that come with age. AAHA recommends that healthy dogs and cats visit the veterinarian once a year for a complete exam and laboratory testing. Healthy senior dogs and cats should receive a wellness exam and lab testing every six months. Depending on your pet’s age and health, your veterinarian will suggest an appropriate physical examination schedule to help keep your pet in tip-top shape.
We will request a complete history of your pet’s health. Don’t forget to mention any unusual behavior that you have noticed in your pet, including:
-
Coughing
- Diarrhea
- Eating more than usual
- Excessive drinking of water, panting, scratching, or urination
- Vomiting
-
Weight gain or weight loss

Surgical Center
From spay and neuter services to more complex veterinary surgical procedures, including soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, and limited neurosurgery, Lindale Veterinary Clinic always operates with safety in mind. We use many of the same safety measures as human hospitals. Performing most of the pre-surgery blood work at our in-house lab, we can make sure your pet is healthy enough for the procedure.
Depending on the urgent nature of the surgery, pre-surgical abnormalities will be addressed, drug selections may be modified and sometimes surgeries are postponed or even canceled until the surgical team feels the surgery is safe to perform.
In addition to constant supervision by the surgery technician, your pet will also be monitored with state-of-the-art equipment, including an ECG, a non-invasive blood pressure monitor, and a pulse oximeter. Rest assured, only the safest, most effective, and latest anesthetic and pain-control protocols are utilized. Your family’s best friend deserves expert veterinary surgical care. We offer the highest level of surgical expertise and specialized care for your pets.
For more than 20 years, Lindale Veterinary Clinic has served as a surgical center throughout the east Texas area. Our entire team of veterinary experts has specialty training, and our experienced staff offers a wide range of services under one roof.
Pet Grooming & Nail Care
Grooming is about more than just helping your pet look their best; it’s also key to helping them feel their best. On top of just not looking great, matted fur and long nails leave your companion uncomfortable, serving as a source of itchiness and general discomfort in their day-to-day lives.
At Lindale Veterinary Clinic, our pet grooming and nail care services aim to help your furry family members enjoy a higher quality of life as well as a cleaner appearance. Working carefully from tip to tail, we provide thorough-yet-gentle grooming to address your pet’s specific aesthetic and comfort needs.
